| <p>Several object-like macros are predefined; you use them without |
| supplying their definitions. They fall into three classes: standard, |
| common, and system-specific. |

| <p>In C++, there is a fourth category, the named operators. They act like |
| predefined macros, but you cannot undefine them. |
